Business Finance Trust was created in 2004 when directors John Davies, Gareth Davies and Ian Berridge were dissatisfied working for major banks. The enjoyment of work had gone, and customers were not getting what they needed. They took a brave step in leaving 25 years’ service and financial security to create Business Finance Trust, with the aim of providing Asset Funding and Working Capital to businesses, in a way that best suited the customer.
The basis on which we started ‘putting the customer first’ has been the reason for our continued growth and the smile on our faces (most days!).
We are ‘old school’. We want our customers to be happy. This, in turn, makes us happy, and both parties businesses thrive. This may not be normal commercial practice amongst banks and providers of asset finance, but we are not a normal provider. Words are cheap, so please put us to the test.

We may share information about you with other firms including finance companies. If you make a transaction using our services, we will keep your data for seven years after the end of the contract. If you do not make a transaction, we will keep your data for one year.

We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days. We aim to resolve complaints within two weeks and to provide a final response to all complaints within four weeks.
If your agreement is regulated under the Consumer Credit Act and if after making a complaint you are still unhappy and feel the matter has not been resolved to your satisfaction please contact the Financial Ombudsman Service (http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/).
